Brent served in executive level roles for Humana, UnitedHealthcare, The Hartford, Willis Towers Watson and a regional benefits brokerage prior to founding Optimal Benefits Professionals. Brent has over 15 years of experience working as a strategic advisor with employers of all sizes, varying from small businesses to employers with 5000+ employees. His experience includes transitioning fully-insured employers to self-funded benefit plans, consulting on various private exchanges, tailoring wellness/health rewards programs and consulting with employers regarding their total rewards strategy and culture, and implementing targeted cost containment measures for the ongoing risk management of employee benefit programs. He is passionate about developing strategy with his team and clients to serve the client’s best interest. He is dedicated to being on the leading edge of current business and Human Resource challenges as he sits on the Board of SHRM of Greater Phoenix and is also active with the local World at Work affiliate, Arizona Total Rewards Association.
